LEARN HOW TO COVERSTITCH
Options:
Group Class includes 1hr lesson, plus 1hr practical time in studio.
Learn how to use a coverstitch machine to give a professional finish to your hems. For use especially on knit fabrics, coverstitching creates secure, even, stretchable seams that move with the fabric.

We will be teaching on our studio's Janome CoverPro 2000CPX.

What you can bring:

You may like to bring a project (plus threads) you have been working on that requires this finishing touch.

Otherwise, you do not need to bring anything at all. We will provide all you need for this class.

Professional experienced teacher - Rachel Walsh of Miss Pepper Sews, who is highly experienced with sewing with stretch fabric and knits. On a daily basis, Rachel is fulfilling orders for active wear. Rachel is an experienced seamstress who also specialises in making costumes - for stage or private functions.

Group Class:
$50. Includes 1 hour lesson + 1 hour in studio practical time. Group class size will be a maximum of 4 people, as we only have 1 coverstitch machine, having a max of 4 people only means that you will be able to clearly see Rachel's teaching, plus effectively take turns on our wonderful Janome!

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
RACHEL WALSH | MISS PEPPER SEWS

While Rachel can sew anything, her passions in sewing are activewear and dramatic costumes. Rachel is highly experienced with sewing with stretch fabrics and wishes to share her extensive knowledge with you so that you too can create with this versatile option in fabrics - from activewear tops & bottoms, to practical loungewear, to the essentials in pregnancy wear.

When not at her impressive collection of sewing machines, Rachel can be found in the park with her dog, Olly, on the running track, or helping to organise the next parkrun.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note that once booked, tickets are non-refundable. You may however transfer your ticket to another participant. Should a workshop be cancelled due to Covid restrictions your workshop will be rescheduled or you will be given a 12 month credit to rebook when we reopen.

When arriving, attending and leaving the workshop, it is your responsibility to follow all safety precautions. Upon booking, you agree that you are fully responsible for your property and physical safety during the workshop. Studio Subi and your workshop teacher hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft to personal property, or any physical injuries that occur during the workshop.
