ABOUT YOUR TEACHERS
Danila.jpg

BEGINNERS CLASS | DANILA BALYTSOK  |  RUBIK'S FAN

Danila started "cubing" after being inspired to pick up Rubik's Cube by his friends from school. With persistence, focus and lots of research, Danila was able to quickly master this iconic puzzle. His passion cascaded to his younger sister Rika, who will be helping to run this workshop. They like to challenge themselves and improve their speed in solving the different types of cubes (2x2, 3x3 and 4x4).

In their free time, they also enjoy playing soccer and Lego together.

BEGINNERS + INTERMEDIATE CLASS | TYLER WILLIAMS |  SPEEDCUBER

"I’ve been competitively cubing for the last 5 years. Other than competitive speedcubing, I’ve been collecting hundreds of Rubik’s cube type puzzles as well. I’m ranked well within Australia and have a large knowledge on different methods for solving the cube, and will be able to help you extend your speedcubing knowledge to help you learn and improve!"

BEGINNERS + INTERMEDIATE CLASS | JOSH HOUNSLOW |  SPEEDCUBER

"Hi there! I've been speedcubing since early 2016. I have found competitive cubing to be a great environment, making many friends, traveling and getting the opportunity to set a continental record in 2017. It's not just about the competition - helping others understand and enjoy this odd hobby can be just as rewarding. Getting into speedcubing can be overwhelming at first, so it is one of my primary goals to help make it more accessible."
